You will engage closely with your client groups to help drive their commercial objectives and appropriately balance risk and legal compliance. This role is well suited to someone with approximately 2 years of post-admission experience in either a well-regarded private law firm or an in-house environment.Reporting to the General Counsel & Company Secretary your primary duties will include:Working closely with managers to provide pragmatic advice on a broad range of legal issues and commercial risks arising within the Operations divisionDrafting a range of commercial contracts with the support of business templates including procurement contracts, packaging, processing and wine supply contracts and grape purchase agreementsFacilitating agile contract review and negotiation of various commercial contracts including procurement and energy contracts, leases, licences and water rightsUsing technology and building self-service offerings to increase business agilityWho we are looking for: Excellent communication skills: This role will engage with a variety of stakeholders so the ability to builds relationships and demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills is a must.Commercial acumen: As a true business partner, we are looking for someone with strong commercial aptitude and a genuine desire to drive business outcomes for their client group.An autonomous working style: This role is well suited to someone who enjoys the task of managing a client group independently and business unit accountability.Experience: Approximately 2 years of post-admission experience in a well-regarded private law firm or in-house environment.
