We pride ourselves on producing internationally awarded quality wines across a diverse portfolio of brands including McGuigan, Tempus Two and Nepenthe.The Opportunity:We are currently recruiting for a Key Account Executive to manage key independent accounts within ACT and surrounding areas with a view of servicing the top retail customer base.Within this role you will develop and initiate business plans with key ACT banner groups, incorporating distribution, core ranging, category management, pricing, trading terms, promotional calendars and frequency.  You will work with the State Sales Manager NSW/ACT to align business plans with national focuses and timings and will work closely with the marketing team to develop effective communication tools and material to deliver a dynamic and consistent brand message through the SG channel.Further duties will include, but are not limited to; Establishing and maturing sales contacts within the set territory and area of responsibility;Servicing existing customers on and off premise with the highest level of professionalism and ethics whilst still maximising all possible sales and margin opportunities;Developing an exceptionally high level of product and industry knowledge to ensure the highest level of service is provided to all customers;Achieving and/or exceeding sales budgets and KPI’s as set by the State Sales Manager and/or AVL;Ensuring that all AVL products are located in key selling positions within each store or retail outlet;Essential experience:To be successful in this role you will have strong interpersonal skills and be results focused.  You will also have solid negotiating skills, proven planning and organisation capabilities and be confident working autonomously to achieve set goals. You will ideally have liquor/ wine experience and a minimum of 2 years’ experience working within an FMCG.
